Unemployed Youth Employment Generation Programme (UYEGP)

•  "Unemployed Youth Employment Generation Programme (UYEGP)" was launched by Government of Tamil Nadu. 

• In order to fix the unemployment problems of socially and economically weaker sections of society, particularly among the educated and unemployed youth.

• Under this scheme, State Government will provide a 25% subsidy in the project cost. 

•  Applicant should be a resident of the State of Tamil Nadu.

• Minimum age limit is 18yr & Maximum age limit is 45yr.

Note: Women/ BC/ MBC/ SC/ ST/Ex-servicemen/ Transgender/ Differently abled, age relaxation is up to 55 years.

•  The applicant should have passed 8th Standard.   

•   Entire family income of the applicant should not exceed Rs 5 lakhs per annum.    

•   Project cost Should not exceed Rs 15 lakhs in business unit

• The State Government will provide a 25% capital subsidy on the eligible Project Cost.
